Safety

The safety of all children in Kids Life is our number one priority. In addition to a secure check-in process, every Kids Life volunteer has passed a background check, interview, and training. We also have an active security team and an on-site police officer.

Bible Teaching

At Kids Life, we use the ThinkOrange curriculum. Bible lessons are pre-viewed, vetted, and planned in a way to engage each child and share the Bible story in a creative way to help them easily understand the message and apply it to their lives regardless of age/grade level.

Fun

We have fun when your child is having fun! We take care to teach but also create a space for each child to enjoy a fun activity to help them laugh, smile, and better understand the day’s lesson. We look forward to having fun with your child in Kids Life.

Before Coming to Kids Life

Before bringing your child to Kids Life, please be sure to do the following:

What To Expect

When you arrive, head to the dedicated check-in area, check your child in, and then drop them off at their designated class.

Each area’s experience is similar but geared for their age group. Each experience includes worship, Bible lessons, Small Group breakouts, and activities.

You can pick up your child at their class at the end of each service. Each parent is required to shoot the parent tag in order to pick up their child. Each parent also receives a Parent Cue to help them engage their children in conversation to keep that same conversation going all week long.

What do I bring?
Children require many things so feel free to bring a diaper bag with all necessary items (diapers, wipes, etc.). You can place your child’s bottle in that bag. We do ask that children not bring snacks, toys or other items to the classroom. Also, please note, our team is not permitted to give medication to a child. Parents are asked to do that themselves.
In an effort to keep our team and children’s environments a safe space, we ask that children who show signs of fever, vomiting, or other contagious illnesses should be symptom and fever free for 24 hours (without medication) before coming to Kids Life.
Please notify a team member of any allergies as well as indicate this in their profile when you check in on your first visit. Because of allergy concerns, no outside food or drink is permitted. (Labeled bottles for babies and toddlers are allowed.)
All Kids Life volunteers are carefully trained and background checked before serving. We also follow a strict check-in process to ensure the safety of your child. So please keep your child’s label sticker from check-in so that you can turn it into a Kids Life team member during check-out.
Our Kids Life team follows Think Orange curriculum that lays out a semester-long plan for helping teach Biblical principles that children can understand and apply to their lives each week. Each lesson is vetted by our Kids Life leaders and adjusted in a way to maintain attention, engagement, and time parameters to maximize comprehension in the best way possible.

Ready To Get Involved With KidsPointe?

We would love to have you join the Kids Life team. The first step is to fill out a New Serve Form on our website, shadow a service with our Area Directors, complete a background check, and go through our training process. Once approved and complete, volunteers are able to work with our team in serving our children in Kids Life.
